After catching the Sex and the City Movie this past weekend, I’ve decided that Charlotte wins for best wedding dress look of the show (for her second-time-around style when she married Harry)!
What’s your opinion?
Carrie in Vivienne Westwood haute couture:
Miranda in her lowkey, mature burgundy velvet suit:
Charlotte’s big princess dress from her wedding to Trey:
Charlotte’s delicate, feminine dress from her wedding to Harry (my favorite!):
Too bad we never got to see what a Samantha wedding would look like. I bet it would have looked totally slinky and like none of the ones above.
I agree with you. I kind of love many things about Vivienne Westwood, but I hate that Carrie look. It’s everything I wouldn’t want to be as a bride: ostentatious yet matronly, voluminous yet ill fitting, avant garde but uninteresting.
Charlotte dress for her wedding to Harry is my favorite, too. I like Miranda’s idea of not wearing a white dress, but there is no need to go all the way over to burgundy velvet.
Charlotte’s 2nd dress is my favorite. Although I do like Carrie’s dress. I think it’s very Carrie!
Charlotte’s wedding to Harry was everything I want for my wedding!
Charlotte’s will always be my all-time favourite.
Hmmm…I love them all for different reasons. I think that I am Miranda or Charlotte #2.
I do like the Viviene Westwood…but if it were me, I would’ve gone a bit easier on the red lipstick. I prefer SJP’s softer looks…
I have a cute product review opportunity. I know you don’t really do beauty product reviews- but it might be fun! Message me for the deets 🙂
I like miranda’s… the more unconventional, the better. 😉
This is such a fantastic post. Charlotte’s dress will always be my favorite, but it is fun to go back and see the girls and their different gowns again.
A
carries dress is beautiful, but everything from the neck up is nada baby.
Charlotte’s dress is my favourite, love the picture above of Carries dress, so so pretty.
I prefer Charlotte’s first wedding dress because her second one, the mermaid dress only fits really slim women. I quite like princessy dresses, and I’m gonna wear one for my wedding in Sep <3. I agree that Miranda should not go from one extreme into the other, their wedding looks like a funeral. Carrie's dress is not bad but I hate the hair, the make up and that feather. She'd have been stunning with her hair down in curls.
love, love, love miranda’s
